On Thursday, March 6, The Millworks in Harrisburg hosted its 10-year anniversary party with dignitaries and collaborators from the local region. Speeches were made, proclamations were read, congratulations were proffered, and a big check was presented to honor the Harrisburg Police K9 Unit. Russell Redding, Secretary of the PA Department of Agriculture, delivered an inspiring talk on the resilience and determination of a restaurant whose industry sees less than 35% of its businesses survive to 10 years, and this achievement is even more impressive given the nearly two-year interruption caused by Covid 19.
Listed on the official Visit PA website as the Number 1-ranked farm-to-table destination, this restaurant-art studio-brewery located in the shadow of the Capitol sources all of its produce from local farms. Double Eagle Malt is proud to have supported the brewery since its early days with PA-grown malts, and as of 2025, they are also sourcing all of their brewery’s base malts from PA farms via Double Eagle Malt.
