Introducing Declaration Lager from Runaway Train Brewery in Honesdale PA, the official beer of America2050_PA. Brewed with Pennsylvania grain, it is a tribute to hardworking family farmers like Fred Slezak, who just won the award from the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show for best barley in the state and overall grain Grand Champion.
Double Eagle maltster/owner, Scott and Runaway Train owner, Greg celebrated the launch of the first 100 BBL batch during a get-together at the malthouse where Fred’s grain was malted for the brewery. Declaration Lager is widely distributed throughout the state, and every 12-oz can that’s cracked open supports a PA family farmer like Fred.
